Hi Shaune i know it's christmas but i could realy do with your halp wheh you get a minute.
I'v just been out in the car and when i started it the service light came on
it was last serviced at 19k ish ( jan 2007 ) and has only done 25k i thought the next one was not due until 30k, can the car count time aswell as millege till next service.
I diped the oil at the weekend and it was still a nice golden colour.
Btw the servce light did go out after about 4 seconds and the car drove fine
I need some advice as i'm ment to be going to Devon on boxing day and doing about 400 miles. do you think it will be OK
i'm just worried that it's got an erro in it, does the display flash up service if there is an erro or does it display erro
I dont think it has anything to do with it but its the one you mapped on saterday morning. btw its a 54 plate leon cupra r 225
I would be greatfull of any help
Thanks
Darren

Hi Darren

Sorry missed this one in the Xmas rush!

The service light may not have been reset correctly or its probably just due because of driving style?

Give us a call and I can advise you.

Cheers Shaun.

Got to devon and back with no problems i think i might just change the oil as its only done 5k since last service.
What oil would you recomend i use and how much would you charge for an oil change and check over.
Thanks
Darren

Hi

We would recommend a 10,000 service which is £100inc vat which includes oil/filter change, full diagnostic, levels and visual check. We use 10/40 semi-synthetic Quantum oil (SEAT OE).

Cheers Shaun.
