Hi all,

I have owned my 97P Ibiza for two weeks now and love It! The car Is In good condition although I would like to get that showroom shine back.

Its one thing to get a car clean but Its another to get rid of all those swirle (only work I could think to describe?) marks.

Is this an impossible dream? A visit to paintshop? Or Is there a cheaper alternative?

I would appreciate any advice.

hi try taking it to a body shop or valeter's were u can have it proffesionally machine polished using compounds and polishes this should bring back the factory shine :)

Some good quality wax and polish and a long afternoon may do the trick. Meguiars, Swissol (group buy in sig) or Turtlewax have a range of products and instructions on how to get your car looking good.

I got my Ibiza from Autotrader In the end. I did look at the local dealer but at the time didn't have anything.
