Leon - Plastic flaps for roof bar fitting

Hi,

I have broken two of the covering flaps for the Roof bar mountings on my Leon.

Are these simply replaceable? How much etc etc?

I'm afraid not, you can only replace the entire rail, the covers are not available as a separate component. The rails are £33.27 each ex VAT & fitting. I could order and post these to you if you require, however postage and packing would be somewhere around the £20 mark.

The above assumes your vehicle has only the black plastic strips and not the colour coded ones (i.e. not a Cupra R) as while the strips are the same price, they will need painting at an additional cost.

At that price I dont think I will bother, not until I break them all at least.

I have only broken the plastic clips on two of the four covers so they no longer click into place when shut. A bit of blue tac may be in order ;)

OK Harry, sounds like a plan. Can't sell blue tac tho, not SEAT approved ;)
