Hi
just a quick note to let you all know about MK Seat's great service.
The drivers Recaro in my Leon Cupra R failed after 3 weeks from new.
The lumbar support failed totaly , leaving me with a very uncomfortable chair, and pretty miffed - not good for a £1200 optional extra.
After turning up at MK without notice,(not even the dealer the car came from), the car was booked in the very next day for a look-see at the problem. Half an hour was all that was needed to diagnose the broken part.
The car was booked in for first thing Monday to fix, I was told it would take 4 hours or so , as dismantling the seats is quite an involving task.
Mid-morning i was contacted by MK Seat to tell me that unfortunately the replacement part was the incorrect one for my chair. Apparantly, 2 different types of Recaro can be fitted to a 'R.
No probs though, the situation was explained fully to me, and i agreed to leave the Car with MK overnight as a new part was being flown over (Germany? Spain?) for delivery and fitment on Tuesday.
The chair was fixed by lunchtime Tuesday, and when i went to pick up the car it had been washed (Well) and tyre blacked. It looked really smart and had only 3 extra miles on the clock.
Thanks to the Guys and Gals at MK Seat for a speedy job, fantastic customer rapport, and fabulous attention to detail. I know this might only seem like a very minor repair, but MK's attitude was far from casual and very thorough. It gives me great confidence should I need repairs ever again.
The Recaro is still working fine, and I look forwards to taking the car to MK for its 10,000 miler if thats OK guys!
