View Full Version : Revo and towing
Hi
I do a lot of towing, often right up to the maximum weight limit for my Leon. Would Revo tuning my Leon and towing, be a recipe for disaster? You automatically put the engine under a lot of strain when towing.

wave good bye to your clutch lining
Not so worried about my clutch (company car!) It's more blowing a head gasket/killing the turbo or something like that, that concerns me!

would have thought it would be ok if ur driving style is correct
but lets be honest u car aint built for towing
Not built for towing? Well in that case, Seat have made an excellent tow car by complete fluke. It's probably one of the best tow cars I've had, RWD and 4x4's included.

I think you misread. He writes I have driven rear wheel drive cars and 4x4 cars and used them as tow cars but none have been as good as my leon. :)

well a car that handles well and has good power will obviously have reasonable towing qualities!
did the other cars have traction control?
