View Full Version : Chip choice - Revo or Upsolute?
Revo & SPS1 = £ ?
Pros: With SPS1 I can revert to std map for servicing, warranty work etc...
Cons: Price
Upsolute = £305
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Poss warranty probs
Any comments? How much is the Revo with SPS1 fitted with VAT?
Cheers!

Software £499
SPS1 £149
VAT £113.40
Total £761.40
Ouch.... I guess it's worth it to keep warranty in tact though.
Cheers,
A

Im totally gagging to get Revo into my Cupra R. Even in its original form its a beast but with that little magic I gather it’ll be a rocket.
Hey just a though for Cupra R owners maybe Revo could produce ‘evo’ badging to stick next to the R already there.
Quite fancy having ‘Seat Cupra Revo’ written on the back, might stop some of the hopefuls from bothering me
:flame:
they do REVO stickers, so just cut the R off (the letters are spearate) and stick away man

The Pros outway the difference in price! Believe me.
I would say (in my case) being able to set the car to standard mode is also convenient when lending your car to other people or when driving conditions (snow, heavy rain) require less power than normal.
Just a thought...
Cheers,
GJ.

Ok for a yellow R but not a black one :D
I've got a white Revo sticker in my rear window which stands out nicely.
Awaiting the new metal Revo badges for affixing to the rear of your R which are on their way soon (similar to ABT ones).
These will look much more professional and the business.

I know I would be interested in a full Revo badge in the same
quality as the standard Seat / Golf badges (as I drive a mk3).

My dealers R is Revo'd as well.....
He said that if the chip hasnt been changed, then they cant prove anything....... So obviously I haven't got a chip, but the stickers give me an extra 10bhp anyway....;)
Steve:D
ABT do the chipping Audi, they so I've heard keep your warranty intact.

Seen as most people don't even know what a 'Seat Leon Cupra' is I don't they will even have a clue what 'Revo' means also! ;)
I'm very tempted with Revo currently, just got a new credit card that needs christening !

Doesnt really matter now tho cos the R is going......:( Being replaced with a Beezer TDi Sport 130 next week, cos the R is just proving to be a bit too expensive to run considering I do 30K a year.... with a house, 2 cats, and a missus with expensive tastes as well....
Considered swapping the missus for a cheaper version, but she didnt like that idea very much....strange:confused:

Blimey! And you've had it Revod as well. Is the dealer doing a trade?
Scott
Yep, its being traded in, got £15000 for it in the end, which I didnt think was too bad as it has got 20K on the clock.....
They have a black one on the forecourt for either 16 or 16.5, cant remember which but that has less than half the amount of miles as mine, so I dont think they will make too much out of it....

Sounds reasonable. I bet you will be sorry to see it go.
I'm sure you will enjoy the Beezer as well though. Going to get that Revo'd as well? ;)
Scott
You may as well it doesn't hurt the fuel economy.
