hi there can anyone help me on this as anyone alarm keep going of and vibrasion thow the floor if gos off ive got a cupra and its peeing me off every morning it going off if a car gos by with a big exhast making the floor shake it gos off been in to see if anything wrong with it and they just say its adjusted to the lowes it will go has any one else had this problem if they have could u let me know how to get round if please i think its to sentative still help jason

I agree, mine has gone off on numerous occasions. If I park on a busy road and a bus goes past it goes off. I also spent the entire ferry journey to the Isle Of Wight listening to it chirping!! I dont think there is any adjustment on the alarm sensitivity, also a shame it sounds so crap!! What colour is your car mate cos I've seen a couple round Southampton in the last week or so it may have been you. I saw a red one in Highfield Lane and a yellow one down town.

My alarm is a git also :mad:
The interior monitoring sensors are adjutable with VAG 1551/VAS 5051 at your SEAT dealer on factory alarms with self diagnosis.
This quite often rectifies false alarms.
My dealer didn't know how to do this.
Can you give me any details or pointers to help them?

Im pretty sure its in adaption in address word 45 (interior monitoring). You can adjust sensitivity by 25% increments I think. i.e 25% 50 % 75% 100%.
It should be in the body self diagnosis manual. If they get stuck tell them to ring the dealer technical helpline, they have just gone brand specific so are much more able to help.
Ill check on it tomorrow.
