i want to get a short shift for my leon 1.6, i've looked at my linkages and seen 1j0 printed on them, many people talk on here about 02a link but i can't find anything about this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

o2a is the gearbox code/type.

don't think mines a o2a beacause it's the five gear not six

looks like an E2A

but look on the spec sticker to be sure

should be a copy in boot and service book

Mine's 5 gears too but you're unlikely to have the same 'box as mine. All you need to find out is what gearbox code you have. It's possibly the same one as the 1.6 Golf and a shortshifter for that Golf 'box might do the trick. Ring you dealer in the morning and their tech dept should know.
