How quick ?

...this is a question I've been aching to ask and at the risk of sounding like a roybacer how 'quick' is a chipped Ibiza Cupra?

I'm talking about an otherwise std (well prb a forge DV) 51 plate Ibiza Cupra with Revo chipping.

What cars have comparable performance? 0-60? 0-100? 1/4 mile?

After driving the Cupra on Sunday it didn't feel all 'that' fast but then again I was being watched and didn't really get a chance to boot it. It didn't feel like a turbo, too smooth. Does the chip change this perception?

Performance should be in the region of low 6's for 0-60, and 0-100 in 15s approx...

Smooth is good.
This is'nt a low tech RS turbo Ford motor of old..... lag lag lag lag woosh!

A chipped motor will give significant gains in acceleration.

Well worth doing. A std engine will definately feel slow afterwards!

John, no 4 bar program available on the Ibiza (i would think the injectors may be a different size to the Leons?)
