Hi Will,
How much power can be extracted from a 182 bhp tfsi 2L with a stage 1 remap?
Is it the same as the 200bhp, and does the remap price include a power run before/after?
And do you offer any warranty should the map codge anything up?

Thanks

James

Hi Will,

What mods do you recommend for a Stage 2 on a 1.8T Leon Cupra - already running Stage 1 and planning the mods for going Stage 2 - already got an induction kit - turbo-back exhaust with sports cat I imagine - do you recommend FMIC before Stage 2, and what about an uprated FPR?

Cheers!

Hi

Stage 2 with you current mods will give approx 225bhp and 265lbs/ft torque.

If you add an intercooler, then 230 - 235bhp is possible with stronger torque at the top end.

FPR is optional really, we usually recommend getting one, and on the day I will carry out various logs to check whether or not it will be needed. Sometimes it is, however, I have mapped alot without, and they still make maximum power within the turbo's limits

hi will, thought more than 225 was achievable with sports cat, tip, induction and previous stage 1?

Maybe on optimistic dyno's!

225 - 230bhp is normal with custom mapping and full exhaust.

Don't forget, you will be gaining a further +35 - 40lbs/ft torque too which is held longer in the rev range

Cupra Kev
24-11-2008, 16:44
Well 225-235 is realistically the top end of what you'd get out of the K03s turbo anyway, so that'll be my limit until I decide to go the BT route

Cheers Will - FMIC, TIP and turbo-back exhaust with sports cat going on the xmas list :)

Hi,

Just a tentative inquiry, firstly do you service Seat Leons 1.8T Mk1? (presumably you do) If so would it be possible to put some kind of package deal together whereby I could get a service and remap done in one go. My car feels ok but its still a little sluggish, if I went for a remap I'd want the engine to be close to its healthy best first.

Many thanks

This package is £950.00 all in, and includes:

P-Torque Stage 2 custom software

Your Leon is £295.00 all in to remap, including engine diagnostics, dyno tests, and road tests.

Thats sounds good, will this effect my warranty in any way or best to leave it till it runs out?

When I get it serviced at an dealer will they change or erase the remap at all?

Will this put strain on my car at all, all is it still under the limits of what it can handle?

Where are you based?

What are your opening hours?

Do we have to book in advance?

How long will it take once I am there?

Hi

In 6 years of tuning, I am yet to have any customer with dealer or warranty issues.

If the remap is over written, we will flash it back to tuned state free of charge.

No, all P-Torque maps are developed to stay within the mechanical limits.

We're in Wolverhampton

Open Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm and Saturdays 10am - 2.30pm

Yes, you need to book

It will take approx 1 1/2 hours

Hi Will!
Booked in ready for saturday!
Just curious I'm today having a custom exhaust system fitted with a sports cat which I'm told will improve torque and bhp (Only slightly) and I've also fitted a Green Cotton Filter panel.

When you have the car do you map it with a standard say generic map?
Or does each car have its own map to cater for its setup?

Also would you recommend any other mods before I turn up to maximise the power? Nothing too pricey, Just minor things (under or around £100)

Hi Will

Is it possible to go straight for a stage 2 on my ibiza. I have a smoothed airbox, forge 007p and a blueflame catback exhaust. The only reason i ask is that you are a good few mile away from me and i will be hopefully getting a blueflame downpipe and race cat in the summer. Just didnt want to have to drive up to you again if i didnt have to.

Also would i see much difference between a stage 1 and stage 2?

Oh it is a 156bhp cupra not a cupra r
