View Full Version : where's the rear anti-roll bar??
I can't find the rear anti-roll bar on my car. It's supposed to have one, but I can find it. Where is it supposed to be located?
What's the rear set-up? Is it inside a beam?
Paulo,
Not sure about other Toledo models, but those 1.8 20V and 1.6 8V don't have rear anti-roll bar.
Just got my fitted today.
It's a Neuspeed product.
For 25mm rear - Part No : 25.10.25.8
For 28mm rear - Part No : 25.10.28.8
I'm testing the 28mm rear now, seems that mid-corner the rear turn-in is sharper (ie. less understeer )
It has 3 settings to choose from, and I'm using the middle setting.
Will give more feedback after more testing... :D
There seems to be a bar inside the rear beam, but I just thought it would be a exterior one like the neuspeed I had on the golf mk3. Keep me informed Mel as I am very interested.
Basically now that I've got the car revo'd I finding that the suspension with the bilsteins just ain't enough in the twisties, causing me to use the brakes more. I don't want a stiff ride, hense the reason why I didn't pick up springs the 1st time round. I have taken a look at the h&r OE sport springs, but I just don't know if I should go for them as the car is realy low up front.???
questions,questions,questions??????
Maybe I should just go for the kw coilovers????
OK I've ordered the rear 25mm Neuspeed bar from Awesome along with the poly bushings for the rear beam & front arms + front roll bar.
All I need know is to know the part numbers for all rear bushings. I think the rear shocks only use one bushing (top mounts), but I'm not sure. The rear clunking noise is coming on pretty loud now.:( :(
Paulo,
What is the size for your stock front roll bar ?
Are you ordering the Neuspeed front as well, or some other makes?
Would love to hear your feedback :D

I've been reading alot on the vortex forums and the concensus seems to be to run the stock bar up front and neuspeed or autotech in the rear. Any increase in the front size will maintain understeer.
