Hi Everybody

I just got myself a 1999 Toledo V5 with 150bhp. I was doing the service on the car and realised that the sparkplug on the left side where the alternator belt also is was filled with engine Oil but all the others are fine and dry. Another thing is when I rev the car up it miss fire in the exhaust when it is revving down.

Do these 2 thing have anything to do with each other? and does anybody now what i should change on the engine to stop it from leaking oil in to my sparkplug?

Regards
Adel

(I'm not familiar with the V5) Is the oil on the outside of the spark plug - If so, your rocker cover gasket probably needs replacing.

the vibration is fairly common as its a 5cylinder so will never be as smooth as a 4 or a 6cylinder imo. Gives it a nice unique noise though :)
