In terms of the standard program that I am running on my SPS 1, where would this fit in on the SPS 3 boost scale ? would it be a 5 or a 9 ?
Although it is quick, It doesn't feel as torquey as when I ran the 5 hour demo program so I am presuming that this was turned up to get people to buy the program. Should I have been able specify the boost and timing when Fontaines Revo'd me and got them to adjust to the fact that I always use Optimax ? If this is the case, I feel that I have made the wrong decision in terms of SPS and would now be willing to pay the extra £100 + VAT is there any recourse ?
Also I am thing about putting in a new Dump valve as there seems to be alot of boost and then none sometimes . Should I be considering the Forge 007 as the best option with Revo?
Thanks

Forge products work well with REVO software.
PM me for prices and options for your car.

you could always find a mate with the sps3 and change your boost/timing settings;)

Nice thought Deejay but I don't know anybody who is even Revo'd let alone has SPS 3 .
:D
Would be interesting to know at the next Southern meeting if someone would lend you their SPS 3 controller. I am also going to the Cupra cup at Brands Hatch but that is in Spetember and I don't think I can wait that long.
Also curious to get the thoughts of the Revo boys. Anyone ???
Why don't you post a request and then drive to meet them? I'm sure revo won't approve of this.

I have now done this EDC so thanks for the suggestion. Still keen to hear what Revo say in terms of what equivalent boost and timing setting the standard car SPS 1 program is on . Anyone at Revo reading this ???????????????????? Any response would be nice

The performance program you are able to select with SPS1 can be set up for the individual preferences of the customer. This can be set by the REVO dealer on installation once the customer has answered the simple question of which fuel is being used (95 up to 98.5).
If this has not been asked and set by the dealer, the default will be low boost 9 and timing at 4 (ideal for 95)
As far as trial software feeling better it should actually be the opposite. Due to some issues with allowing trial software to operate for a certain time period you will find the trial software is a lower speced version of the full Revo program.
Anyone with an SPS3 can alter these settings for you. We can not tell you not to do this. The car is yours after all.

Thanks Richard for your response.
I presume that I would be within my rights to go back to Fontaines and ask them to rectify my SPS 1 as I wasn't asked about what sort of spec that I wanted I was just given the standard program that they had loaded.
When I had the demo done on the meet @ South Mims, Mitch actually asked me if I was using Optimax etc and my response was yes as I always use Optimax. I don't know if the boost was also set higher but the car had massive torque / pickup around 3500 - 4000 revs which it doesn't have on my currenty SPS 1

If you speak to fontains they should be able to get you in and check what settings the car is in, if in normal 95ron mode then they will be able to change to the optimax setting as required.
They wouldn't rectify your SPS 1 as this is only a switch, it would be the settings in the car they would change!

Thanks Kev,
Spoke to Fontains and should be taking it back there on Saturday even though it is a pain in the a**e 120 mile round trip so I feel a lot happier now
:D
What should I go for bearing in mind that I always use optimax and have full service and maintenance on my car .
High Boost 9 with timing 7 ? Is this the best setting for Optimax ?
