A question for the REVO boys, I popped down to Fontains to load up the 5hour test but was informed that suitable software is not currently available for my ECU and so had to be content to pop back home instead of the flight I had been looking forward to.
As so many Cupra R’s seem to have had no problem WHY ME!
The car was delivered in December which I guess makes it one of the earlier productions, was there a change to the ECU after initial release of the software?
When can I ‘go play!’.
Don't worry i don't have an R, but it happened to me as well. Had to wait close to a month before the code was ready.
For me it was well worth the wait as the programing is top notch (not to mention all the options you petrol boys have).
I still have a stupid grin on my face after a month!

Thanks for the comments I will wait there is no doubt about that but what I am asking I guess is what is the current status.

I have received a reply now from Kev at Revo, he informs me that as an error occurred whilst trying to upload the trial software the upload failed.
He advised that the software IS available despite what I was told at Fontains.
Further, as the trial software can only be loaded once to a particular ECU I now have no way to try out the software before deciding if I should shell out £800.
Gutted TWICE! :grump:

I guess its cos the software is made secure for 1 install only, to stop you from going back and loading abother 5 hour trial from another dealer.
