TDI Sport - drawer under driver seat

Right, still can't get the damn thing open.

Presumably when you press the latch on the drawer, it releases some teeth somewhere to allow the drawer to slide out.

Whereabouts are the teeth - on the sides or on the top ??

Asking a bit much this, but if anyone could get me a photo of the drawer while it's open, I'd be able to see what's what....

Two vertical legs out the bottom of the drawer. Lift the handle and they retract:

At lest I know where to poke about now. At least if I can get the thing open, I can probably make some "adjustments"...

Problem solved. There I was, thinking "How the hell did you manage to get a camera under the seat", when it dawned on me I had the seat adjusted right to it's lowest setting. The tiniest pump up allowed the drawer to open !

Strangely, when I dropped it right down again, it still opens. Odd.

Anyway, thanks again for taking the trouble to take the pics.

I just knelt next to the car, waved the camera under my seat and took them. Thankfully there was no one else in the office car park else so I avoided strange looks :D
