Monday the vrs gets traded in.today,off to meet a vrs owner to swap bits and take his hard earned cash off him.
20 mile from home i get the familiar (you never forget it do you?)feeling that the car is running on 3 cylinders.self diagnose that coil pack number 2 has had a hissy fit and called it a day.
called the RAC ,told the operator exactly what the problem was and to make sure the rescue guy had a coil pack."expect assistance in 45 minutes mr jase".
20 minutes later the rac man pops in a new coil pack and i am away,37.50 quid lighter.(robbing shites).
meet up with said vrs owner,swap over bits and bobs and load money into sky rocket.
now i think the MAF is fooking dying.lumpy idle.AND the mpg is showing really wierd figures,goes from 80 down to 12 and back again on a straight run part open throttle tootling along,then all of a sudden the figures go to --.-- and starts all over again :shrug:
