Its been a long time coming, but here she is!

2001, 35k miles and totally standard bar a integral hands-free system, gorgeous! So much more refined and a pleasure to drive and so well built in comparison to my old punto GT although not as quick at the moment but its a totally different type of power.

Haven't stopped grinning since i first got in it.

Couple of panels the yellow has slightly faded, other than that perfect so going to get it machine polished fully to bring it all back up to scratch.

I'd love to get a Cupra, but a) insurance is a bit high and b) i keep thinking that if i got a standard cupra (unmodded) it would have a fair few miles on it, and by time i can afford to modd it it'll have more miles and be a waste of time.

That's why i've been looking at Mk4 TDi FRs.

Must admit, I'm quite suprised at the mileage on that! I've done about 4 times that!

Whenever I see pictures of Ovni cupras I wish I had waited until one came up (mines black).
Amazing that it's only got 35,000 miles on the clock - that's around 5000 / year!

I prefer black cars! A ******* to keep clean and hide scratches. But they do look mint. Must admit the yellow ones I growing on me!

Yeh mileage was a massive bonus, 2nd lowest mileage one for sale i could find in the UK. There was a blue cupra at a garage in wales with 33k on it!

The first owner was a lady and had it as a 2nd car, she only did 3500miles in her first year of owning it from new! Guy i bought it from bought it last may with 25000miles on it i think.

Also david, these are the peeps i have ordered the HID's from. Another couple of friends have used him and said the kits have been spot on, as well as other users on here using the same guy i believe.

If you haven't already bought them though get these:

They are in Aussie dollars and work out cheaper than buying them in british pounds.
