Overboosting the threshold thus going into limpo????? When we meet up sat, ill hook up vag com and see if any errors are generated! Plus we can monitor boost levels too

Could be anything so yes, you will need to hookup Vagcom to see what DTC's you are getting or log the boostlevels to see what goes wrong.

If it is indeed the DV or one of the hoses leaking then most likely you will get a boost threshhold exceeded and the car will go into limp mode. This will happen anytime when the requested boost will differ too much from the measured boost.

Cheers,
GJ.

1000mbar in a bar...
Its absolute also, so atmospheric pressure is also measured... eg somewhere around 1000mbar depending ont he weather.

1.2bar boost then would read 2200mbar on vag-com for example.
14.5psi = 1bar

DTC is the logged error codes thats all.

Diagnostic Trouble Code

As Bill said..pressure is measured absolute so you will need to break
out the barometer to know which value you have to deduct to get the real pressure reading.

Reset ecu now ok ,but on normal perfomance program the boost still feels too strong and loud.Can't find any leaks anywhere or loose pipes ,but then i know i've got boost why is it noiser.Would anyone from revo like to provide some input please.ps when it went first was experimenting with sps3 but only high setting 2,second low9.:cheers: Andy.
