Morning all I'm looking to buy a new shape Toledo it will mostly be driven by my wife but it will also be used every other month on 500 mile round trips on motorways now , the car in question is a Toledo 1.6 stylance on a 55 is the 1.6 up to the job obviously a diesel would be a better choice but it's looking like I could get a good deal on this one , any advise would be gratefully received :confused:
I have the 1.9Tdi and it is great for the motorway, quick enough and can keep up with most. From what has been put around the 1.6 is pretty guttless. I would personally stick with a TDI
Yeh the impression I'm getting is that the 1.6 is a bit weak, me thinks I'll give it a miss so thanks for the advise .
It i up to you and your personal circumstances if the 1.6 would suit but so far as i can see it owuld be advisable to go for the 1.9 or 2.0.
