since having my new sportstek twin pipe box fitted i then had the rubber that holds it in place tied up to hold the zorst higher as it was scraping some speed bumps and sharp hills meeting sharp rises, so far i have resisted cutting the black plastic below the main bumper, is there any way of getting the box raised any more???
anyone who owns a similar sportstek box will probably know what im on about as the roof of the box is nearly touching the heatshield under the car as it now is! tying it has improved the pipes height by about 2 inches and now doesnt rub but would like another 2 inches for extra clearance as i have yet to meat any serious bumps....
no crude jokes about 2 inches etc as a man can only take so much !!!!

I had the same problem with a sportstek a few weeks ago... It lasted all of 1.5 weeks on the car. You can't raise it much because as you say it's very close to the boot floor. Also it touches the suspension when the car is jacked up which I think could be a MOT failure...

I fixed it buy ripping off the sportstek and replacing it with a supersprint backbox. Fits perfectly, is quiet, and the pipe pokes through the cutout in the bumper.

Sorry mate but I couldn't see a way to fix the fault, you could have the bracket on the zorst welded a bit lower but that would move it more to the left and on mine it touched the suspension as it was.

You might be able to do something like that. I couldn't be bothered because I figured it would just get louder. Mine now takes pride of place in the garden as a nice shiney plant pot...:D :D :D

Now there's a big dent in one of the tailpipes where I reversed and it hit a manhole. It looks shit now.
