i need to replace the Cat in my 99 1.8 20V SE Toledo, and I've found a website that sells them. problem is, there are two Toledos listed, one has a AGN engine. I've never heard of this, how do I know if mine's got one?
The site is here:

My Tolly was a 1999 1.820v AGN engine......
the other ones listed are mark 1 tolly years by the look of it and the one at the bottom just specifies its manual without giving an engine code....
what does your manual/service book say your engine code is?

OK, so I figured out I need an AGN cat. My local Seat garage gave me part no. 1J0254507DX and quoted £477.52 + VAT just for the part.:lol::lol:
The website in my original post recon £93.11 + VAT
Can't find my engine code, so still confused about whether to go for the OBD or non OBD. Any ideas?
Cheers

your engine code is located on the cover of the timing belt. OBD or not OBD? lift your car and look for the sensor, and if it is not mounted directly on the cat, then you need a NOT OBD.

All cars with OBD have 2 lambda sensors on them. The second always being after the cat. As a rule of thumb OBD didnt become standard fit until 2001 so you'll find your car should be non OBD. Hope this helps
