Anyone know if it is possible to REVO an Ibiza TDi Sport with the SEAT chip upgrade to 155BHP? Results?

I can only assume you'll get the same results of Fen (RB5) and Simon (Rage)...around 180bhp and 300lb/ft

Yes, it'll be the same as Revo-ing a standard one. Revo code replaces the original, so it will replace the SEAT modified code just the same as it would the SEAT factory code. I guess it would switch back to 155bhp with SPS1 but otherwise there would be no benefit.

Ok thanx, I don't see much point in spending the extra £500 on the SEAT chip then.

I don't know about the rest of you as u've got the 130 pd engine. On the 150 the smoothness of the engines with the REVO code is far (like out of the Milkyway far) better than stock. I honestly could not believe it a 1st, but the car runs and revs through it's rpm range way smoother.

what revs does it start to tail off? does it make 5500ish? just wondering because all diesels ive driven are well dead by then and wonder how the chip helps. cheers.

Normally the TDI dies about 4200rpm, now I'd say it's up a bit maybe 4500. The new 16V coming out this summer is supposed to be good for 5500rpm.

he hastens to add, not for the Ibiza it doesn't :(
