exhaust systems

Hi I spoke to someone involved in VAG group tuning and he told me not to entertain a free flowing on my TD130 (going to buy leon fr170) as it could affect the running, making it less smooth. Comments please. Is he right?:confused:

To add my own experiences. No it does not make it run less smoothly. It's a lot smoother in my opinion, sounds better and weighs less.

Apologies, I am currently away on business.

You dont get massive gains from straight systems on the 130PD models, but as mentioned, power delivery can be smoother due to better spool up from the turbo.

If you are looking for power gains, then uprated injectors are an option :)

Thanks for the info re exhaust systems. Uprated injectors? How much would that cost and what sort of gains?
