View Full Version : ECU For Leon 1.9TDi (90)
Does anyone know if you can put a chipped ECU in another Leon 1.9TDi and it will work. I got my Leon done by Upsolute and am very happy with it however I am selling my car and getting a mini so I've put the stock chip back in and have the modified one available for sale.

StuB may be interested if this is possible and I can't see why it wouldn't be.
ECU's are interchangeable but they carry the immobiliser code.
If swapping to another vehicle you need to use VAGCOM to reset. Any VAG dealership should be able to do it.
I was worried they might hold the immobiliser code. Anyone have a VAGCOM device handy?
Jambo - pick a local audi or dub dealership (?)
Vagcom or VAG1551 official jobby is what they need.
