How much would you want for it?

Problem with me getting second hand parts in England is that a)it's a pain getting them and b)Have a real problem getting them to Switzerland.
But....
I'm back in the uk next Thursday, and might be travelling through Manc Thurs evening/Friday sometime.

Is the exhaust in 1 or 2 pieces? If I get it, it would have to fit in the boot of my mate's Golf. I'd probably just leave it at my parents house in Newcastle till I can get my car back to England.

Garth,
Alternatively I can get one shipped to your address in Switzerland. If you let me have the chassis number via email to tim.wood@mkseat.com
I can sort out the part numbers and prices. Also let me have the town name for a quote on the shipping.
Regards,
Tim Wood

£30 its yours.

its in 2 pieces-centre pipe and backbox.
I can even wrap it up for you so you don't get your mates boot dirty.
next thursday evening will be fine and I am really easy to find, just
opposite the Trafford Centre.

Tim:you trying to do me out of a sale?:(

Deejay, I wouldn't worry about someone trying to outdo you on that deal with a new part!

OK, I need to confirm that my mate will be driving via Manc. His sister lives there and we should be picking her up en route.

Once I have spoken to my mate, I'll let you know.

Cheers:cheers:

Tim: I don't think the chassis number would be much use would it? It's not a standard fit part on the 16v.
Thanks anyway.

no probs.

Do you fancy the standard suspension aswell for a similar
small fee?

(worth a try:rolleyes: )

Actually, I would! But..
The suspension is slightly different on the mk2/mk3 Ibiza's. If it had been a straight swap, I DEFINATELY would've been interested.

If anyone can confirm the exact differences in the two I would apprieciate it.

I have Mk2 Cupra suspension if you want it, with or without lowering springs.

Haha, nice try. You looking to offload all your spares onto me?

I'm afraid I have a couple of amps to shift as well. one Alpine V12 4*50W rms, and one Alpine v12 2*50W rms

Ed, I would love to buy your suspension, but the problem is getting it. Manchester is a big enough treck to go, but it'd be too far to your place. I'm only back for a couple of days and don't have my car.

If it's still there in 3 months, maybe (Thats when I come back to England for good)

May still be here in three months if nobody wants it. I am in Newcastle on the weekend of 18-20th April. I could carry it on the train with me but that could be a bit awkward. Or if you really want it £45 + P&P (whatever that is?).

I have a friend who's coming to a close on a project in Geneva and he did fly out every week on Monday. Think he would get charged lots for excess baggage though.:p

It's second hand so excise duty already paid at country of origin. What else can they complain about?

Yeah, you're probably right. The excess baggage might be a problem though!

You going out in Newcastle at the weekend? I'll be going out for a fairly quiet few drinks on Saturday night, then I'm meeting a big bunch of mates for an all day session on Sunday.

If you're about, I'll pm you my mobile number if you want and maybe get you a beer in.

Ok, Shocks will fit no problem, but front springs are different so need a set of Mk2 springs and everything will be ok.
