Where's that thread I started a couple of weeks ago about getting K04 turbos from the States for less than $900???
Even at todays crappy exchange rate that's less than £650...
We still get ripped off chronic in this country with a lot of things........
I take it these prices include VAT as well ???

I was thinking of doing this to mine until I checked Mikes prices. He's charging £130 for a dump valve which we know we can get from Amethyst for £79.99.

Its not a Forge admittedly so am not sure if its a better spec. Still £299 for dump valve and inlet pipe fitted isn't a bad deal. Any other takers?

We already get a "discount" as members of the forum though I'm not entirely sure how generous he's being looking at the pricing on the Upsolute web site........ :eek:

Sorry, this may be a dumb question :rolleyes: , but what exactly is the discount that we get?

...is it a fixed discount, or does it tend to vary from one person to the next?
(I know we get a fixed discount on Superchips, but couldn't see Impossible Performance/Upsolute in the 'Deals & Discounts' section of seatcupra.net).

From the Upsolute web site, I make it just over 310UKP (for chip, install, testing, VAT).

I take it that, even with the discount, the price doesn't work out much different to this...?

In that case its about £50 as I paid £265 for mine, which is about 20% :rolleyes: I'm sure it was less than that on the Upsolute site though...

Installion £44 +vat
RR £44 +vat
Total £310.20

We are currently do the hole thing for £295.00 all in,(will be charging £310.20 next year, may be more if this Euro thing has it's way) if however you are a SEAT cupra member you get 10% off.

getting a few e-mails from you guys asking what the Turbo Inlet pipe is and does...
The Turbo Inlet is bolted directly to the turbo charger, and is on the main intake of the turbo, all air from your air-box flows though this to get to the turbo..
here's a picture of the stock pipe and the ABD Racing Turbo Pipe, the OE part is Cast and approx 5mm thick cast so you can see how tight it gets in the standard part.
