seeing as im getting her back this weekend, i was thinking of ways to indulge in some making up for lost time kinda thing.
ive taken the "s" off the rear and am trying to think of a design for the replacement block to fill the square gap, any ideas, simple designs pleaser as its only about 2 inches by 2 inches..oh err missus!!

Why not repaint it body colour.

You'ld still have the badge but very sublte

Fit a front fog lamp (the wee round ones on Arosa's Beezers etc.) to blind anyone driving too close.

An old mini-disc ?

Run out of sensible and silly ideas at the mo :)

How abou tget hold of another light and cut part of it out to fill the gap, unfortunatley you'll still have two joins showing but wihtout a close inspection it'll look pukka... :D

I love the idea with the rear light! Tailgaters get blinded! You want 200w tungsten fillament in that jobby so you only need to blip it and blind 'em for minutes! They won't do it again! hehehehe. I'm a nasty bugger aren't I :D :lol2: :car:

also brad, what do you think of a perspex bit, stencilled red with coloured bulb behind it so in the dark it glows gently ? (not too bright or else S wont be seen properly)

Unfortunately I can't get my hands in a digital camera at the moment...for a closer shot on that part. When the badge was removed,I cut a piece of cardboard to create a stencil for the perspex...hence cut and file to shape...
A glow tinge light would look good but could become quiet figety....with an end result that can be unpredictable(whether you would like it or not--->in terms of reflectance).

was thinking of getting clear perspex, stencilling s logo and filling background black with s being clear, small led (maybe 2) red maybe or soft blue (not boy racer leds btw) in backof perspex and lightling connected to the numberplate lighting to operate.
cardboard for dimensions sounds good too. cheers mate.

things have gone really badly at home this past week and a half so ive not had any chance to have a looksie, this weekend i will mostly be visiting maplins tho so watch this space.
jase, red is the colour mate, itll match the rest of the red light panels across the rear, wired into numberplate light as it will then come on with side lights.
