View Full Version : Rolling roaded
Had my little beastie rolling roaded along with Bill and Neil P on saturday - puts out 145bhp at the wheels, thats with standard airbox/filter and exhaust system and no chip. Can't wait to see what power it wacks out when its all done :p

Bloody hell! Did you get a flywheel figure as well?
Pete
no, it only measured the figure at the wills, but the big man Tim Stiles himself reckoned it was roughly 30bhp at the flywheel as a rule. He also reckoned that a optimax has been shown to give an instant 5bhp on rolling roads - don't know how accurate this info is. I've got a supersprint centre section to go on, vernier pulleys to be fitted and hopefully chipped after Xmas, then I'll get it tested again.:D

What mods have you got at the moment. ( I forget easily )
Pete
drilled airbox with standard paper filter (until anyone sales their P/X) gas flowed head and cams, and Rage stainless steel 5 1/2 inch back box.. oh and the ecotek valve.

How much was the flowed head?
Pete
Cheap - Paul at RPM did me a cracking deal as the cam belt snapped under waranty and took out the old head.Same with the cams, just paid for the cams and not the labour as the old ones were knacked. Every cloud has a silver lining
