View Full Version : AQX engines done yet?
just posting to ask whether the software for the AQX engines is ready...
cheers
IIRC it's ECU number related
If you know that / can find it out it'll be a lot easier
MArk
Older AQX models like mine where equipped with 6K0906032 (later engine marks had suffix A or AB to the ecu)
i think engine type and ECU number go together..
mmm can anyone from revo answer?
My Cupra (Dec 2000)is AQX and has the 6K0906032 ecu with no suffix. Still waiting for Revo to come up with the code, which has been promised :) Hopefully by end of May???....
I believe the program for the AQX is now ready. see www.revotechnik.com

The 6K0906032 ECU is being done at the moment, someone seems to have jumped the gun and already updated the website. Sorry for misleading you guys.
oh well, maybe it will be worth the wait and come out even more powerful :)

Yes, full code and trial software. :)
Wooooooo!!!
Just spoke to Fontain Motorsport in Iver and they have the program. Will be getting my demo run very soon! Better go and see the bank manager too!
Booked the tomorrow off work and me and matey are off to Fontain in Iver to try out the Revo demo.......can't bloody wait!
Should be interesting day, me in my Ibiza Cupra and Stuart in his 1.8T Golf Gti.
Will let you all know how it goes...
WOW!
What a fun weekend I had thanks to Revo! Their product is incredible, I will certainly be buying it for good as soon as possible.
From the moment I pulled away from Fontain Motors in Iver I knew that the car had been transformed, and I hadn't even given it any poke at that point. The car just pulled away so easily and effortlessly that I couldn't wait to find some open road. I could also see the huge grin on my mates face as he drove his Golf in front of me and knew he was just as excited as me (he had just got the Revo demo too)
And bloody hell, when we did find the clear roads it was just mental! I'm probably one of the last people on these forums to get their Cupra chipped and I guess to you lot its old news, but I just had to add my praises to the list that I'm sure is very long.
However, this morning the demo ran out and it now feels like I own a 1.4 Ibiza not a 1.8 turbo! I am now depressed and want my beastie back as soon as possible.....I was sure that the demo had lasted more than 5 hours and had begun to convince myself that Alex at Fontain had uploaded the real thing by mistake!
So once again, thank you Revo and to anyone else who hasn't yet checked it out....Go and get it now, you will love it!!
I am glad you like it!
I had the same REVO experience :D
The big downsite was the fallback after 5 hours :(
Now I know my car was already chipped before REVO (darn). But the REVO-demo has changed my car in a none chipped car
I'll have to check what the problem with the first chip was, because my power was the same as standard (156hp, 210nm) but my boost was about 1000 mbar.
Now the boost is no more then 600 mbar...REVO had a max of 1400 mbar.
BTW
I drive with a n75H valve and a Hurricane airfilter.
has anybody tried the AQX software now that it is available and can offer some dyno results?
how much power should we expect?
