Alright guys - any idea if to be able to drive a car third party, whether that car needs to have a policy??
ie - if my policy allows me to drive other cars 3rd party, can i drive a spare car which has no policy of its own??
cheers

no. the car your driving will have to have to be covered by its own insurance policy normally, covered by another driver of course. I think this was brought it because people were for instance buying Ferrari's and say a fiesta and then driving the Ferrari as 3rd party cover which as you can imagine saved quite a few ££
As said it has to be insured under another policy by someone else and the car must be owned by someone else as well.
