Greenlight - 21 and modified = no deal

Asked Greenlight for a quote today after hearing they were good, but they emailed back saying they couldn't quote :(

I'm 20 at the moment, but when my insurance comes up (April13th) I will be 21. The car is only a little 1.0 and has a few modifications - mostly cosmetic stuff rather than power.

Was just wondering what it was about my details that might mean they can't offer me a quote?

Looks like HIC might be getting my custom this year......3rd party on other vehicles and UK track day insurance included :funk:

As per our website we only quote for high performance models. We would not be competetive on a 1.0 with cosmetic mods.

It did state in our e-mail back to you that the we specialise in high performance cars and would not be competetive on your vehicle. In this e-mail we did recommended another broker who may be able to offer you a competetive quote on the non-performance based models.

If you had a Leon/Ibiza Cupra or similar performance model we could happily provide a quote.
