Any thoughts on which brand is good and the ones to avoid
or are they all similar.
I tend to go with Shell because believe it or not it's the cheapest round my way but I occasionally fill up with BP which is usually 1p/L more but it's sheer conveniance as the BP garage is only across the road.
As far as any difference in performance/economy between the two I certainly haven't noticed any although the thing that does spring to mind is the anoying matter of no plastic gloves are provided at my local BP garage which pi***s me off sometimes.
Usually stick to a main brand - Esso & BP are closest to work, Esso & Total for home, but I've also run Shell & Jet when I've filled up whilst out & about.
Had one tank of Safeway stuff and didn't really notice any difference.
I've yet to experience 'sticky diesel' pump syndrome - am I just lucky? :D
