Hello all, Needing some service interval info ,as in when are the services and whats involved as in what gets done at each service oil,plugs filters so on, got 46k on the clock at min so would i be right by thing next service is around the 50k mark ?. The car never came with any service history or manuals so i'am a bit in the dark, Also need to top up me oil atouch,what grade of oil is needed for a 04 V5 170brake ? i'am i right by thinging its 5w40 or not ,Cheers [/I]

10k oil, 20k oil and pollen, 30k oil, 40k oil, air, pollen, plugs then back to 10k. brake fluid every 2yrs or 20k. we use ordinary 10w/40 semi synthetic but you could use better oil if you wanted. also, check for any noises from the timing chain area as its usually an expensive fix. hope this helps

nah dont lose any sleep over it, they are basically reliable enough. its just so hard to get at as it is on the gearbox end of the block so its a box out job for anything.
Sound thats good to know just need do something about a service now .. cheers for ya info on a servicing any way ..
