:jog: New to this fine site and about to become the proud owner of a black Cupra R....will be modded but need some advice on how many miles I should rack up b4 chipping it up.Any ideas/recommendations?Cheers!
Not sure if there is a 'minimum mileage' for chipping (although it will need run in).
What I would say is that you should put a good couple of thousand miles in before chipping, not because of technical reasons but because you'll appreciate the difference much more.
For information my Leon R had 4700 miles on before getting JABBA'd:cheers:

:jog: Ta for the advice, most welcome...s'pose the main decision after running in is what chip to get....revo...jabba....
It's deffo a case of 'you pays ya money, you takes ya choice'. Different people have different needs.
Some people want 'stealth' chipping that is 'invisable' to all but the owner;) But this is thought to be expensive by some.
Some people want better value for money but this uses the 'old fashioned' way of chipping.
Some upgrades allow you to change boost settings on the move, some don't.
Decide exactly what you require then the members can guide you to the solutiion:cheers:
