Typical traffic light grand prix scenario yesterday with a MG ZR (manufacturers stnd 0 - 60 time faster by 0.3 sec's to Leon Cupra).
Lights change he inches ahead, I change to second... see ya !!!

At about 70mph I ease off as its a dual carraigeway with a 40 limit (and plenty of hiding places for those lovely mobile speed traps) as he passes me he cannot stop looking at the car, I guess he was trying to work out what it was I was driving and how the hell it beat his hot hatch!!!

Cheers REVO

Thats the reason I booked mine in on Friday :dance2: , just gives you that edge.
There are a lot of quick cars out there at the moment - even familly cars give you a run for your money these days!

Did you get an SPS module?

1. Yes I have the SPS2, spoke to REVO and they advised upgraded exhaust and IC before bothering with the SPS3.

2. No it was the MG-ZR 160 which if you look at your performance figures is 0 - 60 7.4 sec's

ZR160 is far from slow, mid 7s to 60 - used to struggle to beat them in my old VTS, should be no prob now :D

As Greyfox say's there are so many fast cars out there now, to be fair I find I only start pulling away from most other similar type cars at 60mph +
I think this is where REVO really shows.

Guys,

I had an MG ZR 160 before my R. I think there 0 - 60 is a bit optimistic as the car is as slow as shite. I raced a standard cupra in a straight line in my old ZR 160 and fro 30 Mph he left me for dead !!! The standard R would/does absolutely caine a 160 - Take it from experience. The ZR is all grunt and no go

I had the same thing on the A43 from silverstone. But this time a new Golf GTi
Now i know and love these cars but the driver was an old boy who was right up my arris as if to say move i am faster than you liek.
So we come to roundabout dead together and i floored it, and stayed ahead all the way and much ahead from 30 - 70 and all the way up to welll very fast, and as we stopped at the next roundabout he had a dissapointed look on his face... god bless revo :D :D

Mmmm you dont need Revo to do that, my standard 130TDI sport will burn a Golf GTi and easily keep up with the 160ZS, (they usually cant run long enough before breaking down for a decent race!!lolss):D

I have ibiza 1.8t with superchip and 007dv. Raced a zr160 off a roundabout in second. Went passed him at about 70/80mph and continued to pull away until 135mph i slowed down just incase any pigs about. I had a gap between us at about 4/5 car lengths. Also raced a leon 1.8t but from only 40 to 90 and i was catching him very quickly must of been standard. I am changing the superchip, but i am unsure of who to use, Jabbasport, Revo. Any help with this headache would help. Thanks.

Well i was very happy with Revo and with the added bounus of it being stealthy but i was also contemplating Jabba and revo, its just revo was non evasive did it for me and the power claims were accurate too.

As i have a superchip now the tampering with the ecu is not an issue as it has already been done by superchips. My main concern was who could give me the bigger performance increase. Do u think i will get the same bhp and torque increase from both jabba and revo. If there is a differnce will it be noticable.
