Hi,

Been a lurker on the forums for the past 6 months or so, but have only posted a couple of times.

I have managed to persuade my sister to look at a new Seat Leon 1.6 S instead of a Skoda Fabia Elegance. She lives in Leeds, but will probably buy from the Tyne and Wear / Co Durham area as she will be bringing her old car to me for me to valet it for her. Has anyone had any dealing with Alexandra Bridge Seat in Sunderland, or SG Petch in Durham? What are they like on pricing of new cars / trade-ins (non-Seat) and general after-sales? Noticed that Toonman praised Petch, but has anyone else used them?

Alternative for servicing (seeing as the Leeds and Bradford dealers seem to have a poor reputation) would be Ted Johnson I guess. For those who have used Ted Johnson in Barnsley, over what sort of radius do they offer their collect and deliver service? Anyone living in Leeds been offered it?

Thanks in advance!

Damien

Hi Damien,
I went to both SGP and ABC when looking for my Leon. I opted for SG petch as there overall deal was alittle better. They were more flexiable on "extras" and because they had a Hyundai Dealership my coupe was a better trade in too. Servicing at SGP I have found to be prompt and efficient tho that reminds me I need to ring them about my horn.

Hope this helps a little ....
