Hi Guys
P-Torque are now offering members a Stage 2 software upgrade for just £295 all in on ME7 1.8T models.
This involves logging data live from the ECU, and adjusting ignition timing, fuelling and boost to ensure the strongest possible performance.
The Dyno is currently being calibrated, but once this is sorted, before and after Dyno runs will be included with all Stage 2 upgrades
This process will take approx 2 - 3 hours :)

Hi Guys
Stage 2 does not require any other mods, it purely a custom map for each particular engine.
All VAG 1.8T models use the ME7 :)

so why would you need stage 2?
is this an actual upgrade for owners already with a P-Torque remap? or purely the choice to have the logging and RR with a new remap?
surely your not charging existing customers 300quid to log their car, tweak boost and timing and get an RR printout???

I didn't think we had tuned your car?
A Stage 2 map will ensure a fully custom map for each particular engine. This allows fuelling, ignition timing and boost to be perfectly optimised, as a apposed to generic stage 1 map..
Previous Stage 1 customers will have the option to upgrade to stage 2 for a discounted price ;)

sorry i was under the impression you had always provided custom maps not generic
makes more sense now,
but just to be clear £295 all in is for a brand new remap not an upgrade for customers already with P-Torque Maps correct?

Hi
All Stage 1 maps are pre-developed and tested.
£295 all in is for a brand new stage 2 map. Usually £395 all in (or £325 with member discount) :)
I'll be having some of this then!!
me too when i get my turbo!!
just to clarify- i'll need a standard ecu for this, with whatever mods i want, and you'll be able to do this over the summer for me at 295 all in with dyno print outs?
i will be using k03s, and a downpipe/decat, so can you accommodate for this AND map out the second lambda sensor?
thanks mate, eagerly await your reply!
I'm sure they can flash your ecu back to standard rhys then do the remap.
yeh but phil, i might as well swap my currently mapped stage-1 ecu with someone for a standard one (plus some cash my way to put toward the stage-2), and have a fresh map :)

Hi
You will need a full custom map with a KO3S turbo, I can offer this for £325 all in.
The stage 2 is for stock cars, or cars with sports cat/back box ;)
325.. you've got yourself a deal there.
will contact you again in about 8 weeks if that's ok? need to get some money together and fit various items ready for the map :)
also, you're saying that the second lambda wont be a problem?

Yes, we can map the lambda out :)
Did AMD flash your ECU, or change the chip?
i have no idea what they did so im going to swap my ecu for a standard one

Hi
For new customers, phase 1 is £265 all in, phase 2 is £295 all in (custom tweaked map for stock or mildly modified cars)
Existing customers can upgrade to a stage 2 map for £150 :)
What kind of gains will be got from upgrading to a Stage 2 from a Stage 1? I currently have a Milltek cat-back and Stage 1. And how long is this offer on for?
Cheers :)

Kriso, id strongly advise getting the down pipe and cat matey, it makes a massive difference due to it being alot more free flowing than the standard dp. I have the full system on my cupra, and that on its own made such a difference...... when i was running stage one, after having the full system it was spinning in 2nd in the dry without even touching the map......
Yea but the stage 2 is about 3 times cheaper lol. I'm getting wheelspin in 2nd now...seem to have loads of torque but not enough high end which I was hoping the stage 2 might sort out. Are you on stage 2 now then?

For many people, stage 2 is considered to be a map that required other mods from stock.
The stage 2 described on this thread sounds like a stage 1 map, but with adjustment and many would therefore consider this to be a stage 1 custom map.
However, you then state that you would apply an additional charge for an ibiza with a K03s and therefore this questions how custom the map is.
In my opinion, the 'stage 2' sounds like a stage 1 but with some set up work on the rollers.
But dont get me wrong, sounds like a fantastic product for the price.

Yep got full stage 2 revo running 7 & 7 settings...... feels quicker top end now and it flies...... may turn the settings up to 9 and 8 later on in the summer as i also have the evo heat gasket for the inlet manifold......
Car is very quick when running stage 2 and able to keep up with some pretty quick stuff tbh

Hi!
Stage 2 will give approx 215bhp with a stronger torque band.
If you fit a downpipe system, we offer a full custom tune which will give 225 - 235bhp and 250+ lbs/ft of torque :)

Hey James
Are you still looking to get an exhaust package deal?
The stage 2 will give a stronger torque band, but to be honest, you are better off changing the exhaust system, (at least sports cat) to get a good gain :)

to be honest will ive gone off the idea of spending 1000s onj performance now and going to stick to styling instead.
just wondering what the benefit of stage 2 is mate?
also im after a set of porsche turbo alloys in 18s, any ideas other than rh ah turbo. replicas obviously.
ever seen a cupra with them on? i know they look good on tts.

back on the stage 2.
is it not beneficial for me to upgrade to stage 2 then as its a custom map.
£150 is a cracking price if the upgrades worth it
WHAT WILL THE FIGURES BE ON THAT, ASSUMING IM RUNNING 215BHP NOW?
just have to dumb it down what the benefit is for me.

Hi
To be honest, stage 2 won't give much benefit if you are already running that power ;)
Hi is this offer still around?
Would you do this offer on a mk4 gti 1.8T as i'm now an ex-seat owner?
Engine code is ARZ, it has no modifications so what power output would I likely to see as there's confusion over the fact is has a K03 but DBW (not sure about VVT)

Ive got a Mk3 Ibiza Cupra. Just wondering when having a remap is it a necessity really to have a 4 bar fpr or is it just more beneficial on the power gains.
Thinking strongly about having this done at that price but is there anything you can recommend that i do prior to the runs to optimise the results. Performance wise i just have a full ss exhaust, green filter and forge 007 dv if you need to know this.
Thanks in advance

aparantly the 4 bar is only needed for the Revo map, i know someone with a mk4 cupra 20vt who recently had stage 2 uploaded by p torque and they didnt need the 4 bar and used the standard 3 bar.

Hi
As Dan mentioned above, it is not necessary to change your FPR, the stock one is 100% fine, and has no effect on power output.
Your mods so far are more than adequate to see good figures :)

No thats fine :)
You have the 150bhp model with K03 turbo. The P-Torque software will give you approx 190 - 195bhp and 205 - 215lbs/ft torque

Hi Will
I am very interested in having a stage 2 remap. Well i was going to book in for a Stage 1 within the next month but seeing the price of the stage 2 it put a big smile on my face.
Im abit worried that it will not be possible with the mods i currently have. As in i dont yet have and intercooler. My current mods are listed below my signature.
What sort of power would i be looking at for a stage 2 and for a stage 1 i have been told i would be looking at around 200bhp
Sorry for the questions, i just dont want to start running to much power and causing my self problems
Thanks

Ok cool
Ive been in a mates ibiza with just a stage 1 remap. Also been in one with a revo remap and it seems much more aggressive. I think i prefer the gradual feel of the p-torque remap. My friend was saying peak power was at approx 6k.
Would you just recommend a stage 1 and then see about getting a stage 2 after? Its just im going to be coming from North London so its abit of a drive.
Really confussed on which one to go for. Its just the price of a Stage 2 isnt much more

We can offer an aggressive map, but don't recommend it. Aggressive overboost does not result in the best overall performance. We hold the power out throughout the rev range, with no spiking then tailing off..
As mentioned, stage 1 will suit you. Its been heavily developed :)

im in the same boat - i was going to go for stage 1 but seeing as stage 2 is only a few quids more and its tailored to your mods would be a better option?
When mapping is due, will have:
Open Cone filter
Forge TIP and DV
Laguna IC
MIltek exhaust -
I wont be getting a sports cat -
So stage 1 or 2?

Just a quickie, am i right in saying that with a mapped car you are better getting spark plugs that a grade colder than they normally should be, for eg in the case of a Mk3 Ibiza Cupra, a set of Denso IK22.
Still on the save to get a map done by yourselves but i want to make sure i have everything to make it as beneficial as poss.
thanks

Just want to say a big thanks to Will. Took my Mk3 Ibiza Cupra to hime yesterday and it's come back a different car.
After discussions with him i decided for what little more benefit i would see and due to the generic map being so well tweeked i would just go for the stage 1. He also fitted us a set of Denso IK22 plugs so im hoping that the car will also run better with them in itself, even if it's not noticeable. Bhp wise saw around the 200 figure with slightly more on torque but the grin factor is amazing.
Anyone considering getting this done, do it, you wont be disappointed, top quality service all round by P-Torque.
