Drives so much better and I wish the FR TDi was originally sold with an engine map like this!!
(Then again, that wouldn't be very useful to your business!) :p
The acceleration is very smooth between the lower gears, and in the higher gears there's decent pulling power when I floor it to overtake on the motorway!
The car's very responsive now in that the power is there when you put your foot down.
And like you said I also noticed that the stutter that was quite evident in lower gears and low revs has disappeared!
Plus the fuel efficiency was quite noticable on the drive down...... usually I use close to 1/4 tank on the drive from Brum to London, but I just went over 1/8th on the way home today...... plus 43mpg on a short 30mile sprint to the gfs was the best I've seen from my car.
(Onboard displays says 400mile range left, so I could potentially break the 500 barrier.....)
