Popped down to Brands Hatch as its a 20 minute drive from home to watch the 1st & 2nd practice sessions of the champcars.
Well its sure is a spectacle to see 750bhp cars scream up the pit straight:D and Alex Yoong is just as usless in champcars as he was in F1:lol2:
However my visit was to recce the event & venue and I had planned going ther on race day, but now I will not be for a few reasons.
Most of the place is one big muddy bog from the last couple of days of rain especially the carpark. Rain is predicted on raceday (I aint afraid of rain, skin is waterproof after all ;) ) which will undoubtly make the racing interesting but will worsen then carpark situation, as you will need summat with all wheel drive or get a tractor to tow you out :(
If the attendance of todays practice session is anything to go by, race day will be apsolutly rammed full, getting out of brands will take hours & hours................
