Hi all,

If I get a supersprint exhaust , is it a good idea to get the centre pipe as well - can I get the exhaust without getting one or is it a must have - to increase performance .

Cheers

if you want to get the best out of your system , a decent manifold, sports cat (no real difference), and cat back system. as far as im aware the manifold frees up the most grunt! power flow quoted me 325 for a cat back system including a custom backbox, that covers fitting and new piping. some people on here think that they arnt the best way to go, but for that price you can tell them exactly how loud and what you want it to look like . soon as I get my bodykit sprayed and fitted, that will be the next thing i get done.

Brendy,

Dont you have a supersprint at the mo ? Thats all Iam really interested in just now, £325 is a bit far out at the moment( Just checked My cc statement ) do you think it would be a good idea to get the centre pipe with the single oval exhaust from SJB - Looks good and Im sure you said it wasnt loud - dont wanna drown out the sound of the ind kit.

i have the sportstek exhaust twin round, its fairly quiet, i'd rather have one slightly louder, but from idle to 3k rpm its sound is nice and growly, and from 3k to redline at 7k its the nice whoosh of the induction kit!!, if you want to hear the inducktion kit download the hard cornering video from the curborough trackday cause i went round the corner and pumped the accelerator a few times, it sounds fairly snorty and gruff!!

It's me sith the supersprint.... I only got the back box because the centre section wouldn't fit. ( long story and I won't bore everyone with it again... )

But it's VERY quiet. I think it's probably a bit quieter inside than the standard one. But it's a nicer, lower note from the outside. I thought the sportstek was a bit boomy at times but the supersprint is spot on. I'd go for it..

hehe bore!! i geddit pete, bore, hehehe
any road, im starting to like my zorst, its starting to make a far nicer sound, as someone on here once said, sometimes it takes a bit of soot for the backbox to give its full sound.

Mine wasn't on long enough to start sooting up. Must get round to cutting it up actually so I can put some flowers in it...
