has anyone here put a turbo on the cordi??/ there dosent seem like there is much room for all the piping, the turbo would have to be mounted pretty far from the exhaust manifold?
how about a supercharger, looks to be plenty of room to mount one?
There's a feature on the mainpage.
See Admins, we do look at the main page ;)

there was a 2.0 16v cordoba once, and i think it was a bit too unreliable so it was taken back off. though a supercharged 16v would be fun especially if it was adjustable! :)

The WRC had a turbo - so it must fit !
Might be an integral manifold/turbo housing ??
Seen turboed Sirrocco's, and Mk2 Golf's (engine bays looks similar size).
Supercharger - if you can still get them a SPRINTEX would be the best (that's what Merc's use). Like you said loads of room. SPRINTEX used to do kits - don't know if they still sell them tho ?

They're the best design of supercharger I've ever seen, much better (more eficient) than Rootes or Millar types !!!
The kits looked fairly simple to fit. Basically the unit, mouting bracket, couple of drive pullies and some new piping.
Let us know hoe you get on mate. :)

would you be able to fit a turbo charged engine in the bay? eg. 1.8 20vt? could save some hassle.
