Ok so the engine on the cordy has seen better days. Upon discussions with the boss and some thought i have decided to throw some proper money at her and have some fun! Starting with engine etc and then working my way out to body work. Suspension is already planned and part ordered and the brakes are yet to be decided on!

So say i had about 1k to throw at the engine....What do we recomend? Bearing in mind it will need some TLC before tuning so say 800 for tuning? I dont these days have the time to do that side of things myself so will needs recomendations on a good tuner?

So far on the list i think its something like.....
Head rework and polish (gas flowing has been mentioned! Benefits?)? (been quoted about £150 for this plus they will fit the cams whilst they are there if i supply them, only downside is i have to remove the kead and take it down to them)
Cams? - Not sure on price of manufacturer? or profile?
Remap? Worth it? Worth it if tuning?
Obvious induction and exhaust! But which do people recomend? Who does manifolds and sports cats (if at all someone does) for them?

i know i wont get all the above for that money but as a starter what do we think?
