Hi guys,

I had to replace the Indicator stalk on my 2002 Toledo 1.8 20v SE to solve a problem I was having with the hazard relay (tick-tick-ticking whenever the steering wheel was turned past centre, I replaced the hazard switch, but it turned out to be the indicator stalk... always the way isn't it). :cry:

However, since replacing the stalk, the cruise control no longer operates... at all (indicators do though). :clap: The car came with cruise as standard, so it's not an aftermarket kit that's been activated with VAG-COM software.

Now logic says to me that it should've been an easy switch... so I'm moderately puzzled as to why the cruise no longer functions.

So... basically, does anyone know if I'll have to have the cruise feature reactivated through VAG-COM or is it more likely that the stalk is actually faulty... (or possibly that Euro Car Parts have provided me with the incorrect stalk?).

Just for info, the stalk is as follows;

From Euro Car Parts
Manufacturer: VEMO
Part Number: 461441580
BIN: FF58A
Tridex Number: VAG8L095351 3JO1 Indicator switch (With Cruise)

Any help greatly appreciated. :)
