I did have a very rushed visit, and it was a shame I couldn’t have stayed and chatted about cars to will abit longer.
Due to the rain yesterday I couldn’t really boot the car to badly on the way home, but after taking it out in the dry today its well worth the money getting it mapped, just boggles my mind way they don’t put better software on the ECU as standard!
I had the generic remap and forge DV fitted. Great service , nice clean place to chill and watch DVD’s while you wait! All round fantastic!
And I got a couple of window stickers to boot!
Great service defiantly recommend p-torque to any1 ! (and it’s a nice straight road so you can test the car! :) )

Answered that without moving my lips!!
To save using a new thread, I’ve got a problem, well maybe its not a problem, the car felt really punchy after the remap, I could feel it push me back in the seat. But now I took my mate out in it on Friday and it doesn’t feel as fast, is it just me getting used to the new power? Its bugging me abit.

Try pulling the plug off your air mass meter, and go for a drive. It may need replacing if you have lost some performance ;)
Drop me an e-mail or call if you are unsure how to do this

if you look at the maf ,you will see a plug(abit like a scart lead)at the top. sometimes it can be abit stiff to pull apart . you cant miss it as its next to your air fillter. failing that you have just got used to the power. i think once you have a taste of more power you will want that little more.

is it the big tube on the right of the engine? with the metal cable tie thing around it?

could be it. its the solid plastic tube with the plug on the top. its the first solid plastic tube you come to that comes out the left hand side of the air box.:)

also do you have some sort of induction kit on the car? if it is the maf it could be the kit causing this problem. think its something to do with when you clean them the greese gets into the maf (so i have been told ). changed the kit when got a new maf and its been fine since.

i would take a picture of it for you , but got no way of getting it on the computer at the moment. im prity sure its the part you think it is. cant think of any other way to discribe it. only other thing to do is a thread search on maf sencers to see if any have pics. good luck mate:)
