Ok what I am after is up-rated Bilstien Dampers for a 2001 Ibiza Cupra. I see lots of kits etc but these all involve lowering, this is not an option on the roads I drive on, the underside of the car would be wrecked.

Can I get the Seat Sport kit with standard ride height? Ideally I am looking for a fast road / rally set-up.

Also does anyone know of an up-rated anti-roll bar kit?

Can't wait for all those dyno results by the way.

SEAT sport kit is BILSTEIN dampers/ EIBACH springs

lowers it 20mm

£499.99 + fitting (4hours)

There is an anti-roll bar kit from Eibach (F+R) - have it on my race car - it works very well indeed on the track but is rather firm for the road - I would not recommend one at all if you drive on bumpy / potholed roads

Rob :D

Where from and do you have the numbers please?
I keep being told they are "due" sometime.... and not available yet.

Thanks for the info guys but I am still after that standard height kit.

Good point about the anti roll bars it might make things worse.

Is there a fully adjustable kit that will go to standard height?

dont be a wimp get the anti roll bars ive had time to put mine thru paces and f**k me they make driving amazing. i have been on roads that resemble dirt tracks that someone flung some tar over and it was pissin down too and i screamed round them. get them it will be the best money u spend

OK gordon it sounds like you have access to the same style of road as me. So I am willing to give them a go, where did you source them.

Also what spring damper combo are you using? have you lowered?

yep roads i travel to work include some real nasty rough stuff, hairpins etc and the car eats them up and the best bit - stock std shocks and springs running on 17s with 205/40 without any rubbing. i am looking for better dampers and lowered springs cos i hate listening to cds anyway :D i think the car does feel stiffer with the bars not just on corners either. as for supply i got mine from starperformance up here. me beeza is 98 tho so new cupras might not have any avail yet, but try to find some cos for 300 squid they will improve the fun of driving those twisty welsh roads no end

I have contacted star Performance for the eibach anti roll bars, they aint available for the new cupra turbos yet, apparently they will be available at the start of next year. As soon as they're available then am gonna get them, so I will let u know what they're like once they are on.......

OK good info guys, it looks like I will have to wait for a couple of months for a supplier but that's OK.

I thought the Ibiza was Polo based and there for would have the same suspension bits and bobs but I am beginning to wonder now, does any one know?

Hey Mark (and no i'm not talking to myself)

The suspension is SIMILAR - not the same.....

The Ibiza is Golf front & Polo rear - sort of.

but only SEAT bits should be fitted..
Sorry
