i havnt declared my alloys etc.....yet

what do i need to decalre out of these and is it likely to add alot to insurance?

alloys

Cupra STANDARD front bumper

K&N induction kit

FUTURE MODS

tints

lowered

im insured as a named driver, but im the only one who drives the car, are they likely to realise im the only one driving it dues to the mods being done?

you should always declare everything you have done that ulters the power or style of the cars as the insurance company can use anything if they wish to get out of paying up in the event of a crash.

Everything you have listed i would declare and i wouldn't be putting down in black and white with regards to your last comment either.

Declare the lot buddy, if you have a accident they can quite easily refuse to pay. As for you being a named driver but the only one using the car they would have to prove you are the sole user, i don’t agree with this way of insuring your car but its harder for them to prove. Just bare in mind any attempt to defraud a insurance company can void your insurance

yeh do, they ask if theres mods after accidents, well they did me. Not that the insurance company ever came to see my car but they could have and yeh they wouldnt then pay out if they dont have to. I need to change companies as theres no real understanding how they decide to charge for the mods, £20 for alloys, £30 for lowering (not that I have but that's what they want to charge) £20 strut brace, I want to move to a specialist insurance company now really.

declare it all.
just tell them.

also note that tints to the front windows will most likely be illegal.
