I was wanting to get a set of 17" Wolfrace alloy wheels for my Ibiza.

After looking on the wolfrace website it states that a fitment is not available for the ibiza in 17" but it is in 15". However they do do a wheel suitable for 4stud VW Golfs.

Am i right in thinking that a golf 4 stud fitment is the same as on my ibiza??

I was going for the usual 7x17" wheels with 205/40 R17 wheels, so that should be okay im sure.

Cheers for any info...

using the stats off the type R a 35 offset instead of standard 38 is in order as well

will make rear end 6mm wider overall , but it needs it really , i think bill is testing which width is best :p

Just trying to sort out what you said, does that means the golf wheels would fit on okay? They would be at 38offset would they not?

Or should i be looking for a 35offset...

Just want to make sure they will fit before i order them dont want bad handling or rubbing.

Cheers,

they will fit on ok , BUT like i say watch the offset as 7*17 is wider , and you may need to bring em away from the body slightly .

HANG ON , bill has 17's on his i wonder what offset he has, they came straight off his DUB racer

Main reson i want the wolfrace wheels is i need new tyres and can get the wheels cheap so id be mad not to get them too.. honest :)

I don't know which wheel your looking at ,but I know the UR7 is available to fit the Ibiza. It takes a 4stud 100mm PCD (standard VW) with a 38mm offset standard, but I believe a 35mm offset will also be OK as on the 'R' version. A wheel/tyre supplier should have all the info.

Hello! Bill ere....
My rims are 7.5" x 16" ET35 TSW Stealths, with 205-45-ZR16 Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres.
They fit fine. I have +10mm spacers each side on the rear and am lowered approx 40-50mm on a PSS9 Bilstein kit.

Std MK2 Golf wheels have ET38 rims, and when going wider ET35 is the norm. They fit fine on my Ibiza, and its pretty low these days.

hope this helps

Afternoon all,

While we're on the subject of wheels, what make, design and size of wheel was the RSD Ibiza Cupra running, as they're sweet to look at and go well on the car.

Cheers,

Chris.

Cheers for the info bill...

Ill call up my supplier and see what they say. They thought the golf ones should fit but as wolfrace dont list it as ibiza thought i should check it out first.

They will be 7x17 but only on a 35mm drop on eibachs so i dont forsee any problems...

Just going to have to find the money to pay my credit card bill at the end of the month now :)
