This is the best oil ive ever used, far better than the more well known brands.
Fuchs Oils at;
http://www.opieoils.co.uk
Id recommend using Forte Oil Flush just before dropping old oil, you can get it on ebay and its far better than wynns etc.

Well you are welcome to a car full of old sludgey oil, whilst the rest of us drive around on nice fresh oil.
EVERY car i have had i have flushed at each change, and they have continued to a very nice high mileage.
Been here before mate. Done it all and I won't do it again, just point you to the last "professional" who spouted that Forte Engine flush was a good idea. Link (http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=158908).
I agree with your recommendation about Opie Oils though.

I dont quite understand your point? Ive made a lot of posts on here in a short period of time trying to help people out, seems you think im here to make a cheap link for monetary gain, please check your facts before making that assumption.
As it happens I am a part time car trader, I have no direct connection with flush products or servicing cars, except if i use those products.
I am not on here to make a quick cheap buck and the links i have provided are nothing to do with me. I am merely sharing what I see to be good advice to other members.
Ive always used engine flush, and change oil every 5k, doing both of them the cars ive run have not only been smooth but remained smooth when i sold them on.

OIL FLUSHES
There is an argument that flushing an engine causes sludge to block channels in the engine, its a matter of choice which side you believe.
Searching the internet I found one case where straight after using flush caused the engine to fail. The thing with this engine, and this is important, was that it hadnt been serviced ie oil change regularly, so it was full of crap.
Ive always used oil flush, the tone of the engine when the new oil is put in has been superb, including on my own recent acquisition of a p reg ibiza with 140k on the clock.
Ive used flushing on many cars, all sound superb afterwards.
Personal choice, but i think with regular oil changes flush is a superb way to go.
My point was entirely to do with your recommendation that engine flushing is a good idea. Nowt else, other than the fact that you signed up with a trade name as your username and the last bloke did aswell. You seem to be making the same noises.

And these noises are what?
I trade cars on a part time basis, that is all.
Can you tell me which cars I have for sale?...no you cannot, and you know why? because i havent used this forum to promote my business activities!!
How dare you judge me on assumptions without any kind of factual backup.
All the links I have provided have no financial benefit to me whatsoever, they are merely my opinions on matters I think will help other members.
Frankly if I had anything to hide why would I have my username as my trading name?
And why come on here insulting people?
And I also agree with your recommendation for Fuchs oil.;)

Ok cool, I am not a schmuck!
I think the thing with using flushing oil is how much you trust the condition of the engine in question, can we agree on that?
A family friend, trained mechanic 30yrs doesnt like them either, its certainly more risky on very old engines, but with newer ones ive never had a problem and its worked a treat.
I think if the engine has been serviced regularly, then flush is super stuff, if not sure then maybe dont use it.
On the recommendation note, the problem with manufacturers is that they can give very good advice but also the flip side is whether that advice is based on their technical knowledge or financial reasons, ie maximising servicing revenue or only using their parts.
Ive just bought some non-vw parts, dizzy and maf sensor, quality is superb, excellent build quality, but youd never get bosch or vw recommending them.
From a DIYer perspective, using flush means running the engine for 15 mins before dropping the oil, a lot of money if paying a garage but nothing its done at home. I mean on ebay flush is £5.
I really think it depends on how much you trust your engine
