I am after a durable, wet look for my car (pic below). At the moment, I periodically use the Meguiars 3 stage stuff and then use Meguiars one application wax.
What products and waxes do you recommend for a wet look? Also, can this be used on my other motor (yellow Mk3 Ibiza Cupra) or are separate products advised?
Thanks

I too have a black car and a yellow car, so have spent quite a bit of time working with various combinations on them.
To a certain extent the information in this post here (http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=169471) is quite relevant. The same waxes will work equally as well on the black as they will on the yellow, including the Banana Armour which works very well on black too. Which ever one fits your budget really.
Good preparation is the key to get the look you after, even more so on the yellow. Use of Lime Prime (a mild polish, removes oxidisation, minor marks) or Lime Prime Lite (a pure chemical cleaner for use on good paint) before waxing will give the wax a good base to bond too, but also add to the look because of their glazing effect.

Thanks for the reply; will go and check out the link now.
For some reason, my pic didn't work. I don't have a black car - I mainly need it for is my grey RS6, so would the info provided still count?

Sorry my bad, I loaded the pic up from the link and it looked black on my screen. :headhurt:
But yes all those waxes will be equally as good on grey too, including Banana Armour.

Thanks.
So you think that an initial polish and then some of this Banana Armour would do the trick and give it the wet look?

Banana Armour will give a nice wet look, but as above prep is the key to a great finish. So Clay -> Polish or Lime Prime -> Wax.
