Went to GTI International on Saturday and FORGE had a 'show offer' where they pay the VAT (ie 17.5% cheaper :) )
Unfortunately I'd travelled up in a mates Corrado so couldn't get it installed at the cheaper price
Does anyone know of any other deals knocking about? Its a lot of money to spend, and now I have 'sale syndrome' I don't really wanna pay full price.

That's what it should cost in the first place - said it before and saying it again, i'd have it by now if it was those prices they quote ex VAT.
But answering your question - don't know, and doubt they'll make a habt of it, might just pee off a lot of existing customers :(
Show only offer I belive.

:head:
Price with SPS2 & VAT = £820.15
Show price = £698
Why did I let my mate drive? To rub salt in the wounds my back has been killing me from his fecking seats :(
:grump:
and to piss you (& me) off even more... the Amercans get it for about £310
That's £330 plus sales tax for the software in the US.
It would be OK if you knew they were going to offer the 'show discount'.
It would be worth the ticket and petrol prices for many members.

LOL i've given up on that one a few weeks back :(
If APR USA get theit act together i'll be getting that instead as its cheaper and more local if i encounter problems, plus i wont lose the switching function as its in the cruise control and not a key fob job.
However it'll need to be an new remap (265+bhp & 275+lb/ft), and not the old one (252bhp & 265lb/ft)
Next week or so will be all much clearer.

I must say if it was around the £500 mark I would be getting it done.
As it stands though I think it is quite expensive. I appreciate the costs in developing the SPS gizmo's but the software is still a lot of dosh.
Its a shame we did not get a group discount via cupra.net I am sure if 20 people truned up at once that would get something knocked off.
If it came down to a sale or no sale then I would be looking at the 17.5% offer if I was in charge @ the supplier.
IMHO

Yep - I'm getting my car Jabba'd soon - if the price was a wee bit less on the Revo - it would probably swing it to Revo for me.

I was seriously tempted to shell out for the Revo software at GTI International on Sunday, especially after speaking to the American guy on the Revo stand. He said that they would be able to put the demo on my car so I could do the sprint and then put the full thing on my car so I could see how much better that was, all for free! :D Of course they would flash my ECU back to standard when I left the show if I didn't want to shell out the money. When the bloke from ForgeMotorsport came over he put the demo on but wouldn't do the full thing for me to test down the 1/4 mile without me paying, so I decided to just try out the demo and get the full thing done some other time.
I asked about discount and he wouldn't give me any at all. I was told that all dealers do it for the same price and I wouldn't get a discount from anyone. I'm a bit annoyed if they offered a special show price to to others. If I had been able to get a decent show price I would have probably got it!

I agree that the pre-VAT prices sit just about at the top of my 'comfort zone' as far as chipping costs go. I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is and book my car in the day they offer them at this price. I'm sure others here are too, so why not a Cupranet offer; this place has done wonders for your guys' business, surely it's the least you can do?

Just to clarify a few points :)
REVO have generated business through these forums, however they also offer software upgrades as prizes to competitions for our members.
If you have a problem with REVO's pricing structure please discuss this directly with them.
As far as Jabbasport go, they like any other tuner, are entitled to a forum aslong as they put the time aside as REVO have done, to man the forum and answer questions and supply relevant information to our members.

My point was simple. I was just surprised that there was no discount available via this forum.
I was using this forum as a way of gathering other peoples opions on the subject. (which is what I thought the forum was for in the form of discussion etc.)
But I do take your point I could contact them direct but I think I already know the answer (fixed pricing) hense the discussion here.
In any case this was started from the show price being discounted at GTI international.
